Seed stratification workshop

Did you know that the seeds of certain plants require some preparation before they’ll germinate? Outside in their natural environment, seeds encounter the necessary conditions to start germination during the winter months. If we want to plant in the spring, we have to help them along using a technique called seed stratification!

Come by our office on the 5th floor of 6767 chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges at 10 am on Saturday, February 21st to learn how to use cold stratification to prepare seeds for planting in our pollinator garden in the spring!
