The SOCENV is in charge of the Éco-quartier program in the neighbourhood of Côte-des-Neiges, with financial support from the CDN – NDG borough.
SOCENV’s éco-quartier project works with the borough of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce to provide a wide variety of environmental services to the population of Côte-des-Neiges. These services focus on topics such as Reduce-Reuse-Recycle (the 3 Rs+V), cleanliness, urban beautification, and our natural environment.
Funded by the city and run by local community groups, the Éco-quartier program aims to improve the quality of life of residents, workers and business owners by supporting their active participation in local sustainable development efforts. Although we work closely with the city, we are not responsible for the enforcement of local ordinances. Instead, we try to help citizens find innovative solutions to the environmental challenges of daily life in a big city. We invite you to learn more by visiting our offices, calling us up, or by following our activities on this website. Our staff are here to help and answer your questions!
