Les Journées des ruelles vertes (Green alley days)

Have you heard of Green Alley Days?
It’s an event organized by residents since 2013, and this year it’s being held on September 9 and 10.
The principle is simple: you organize activities of your choice in your green alley (planting, children’s games, potluck, open-air cinema, concert, garage sale, corn roast, etc.), you send us the information via a short online form and we promote your activities. The aim is to raise the profile of Green Alleys, as well as your incredible involvement in these projects. Every year, more than twenty alleyways across Montreal come alive during the weekend. Come and join us!
How do I get involved?
The easiest way is to sign up for our newsletter here. That’s how we’ll share all the information (especially about registration), but we’re careful not to send too many (5 maximum). You can also follow us on our social networks (Facebook and Instagram).
You’re not a citizen of a green alley, but you’d like to get involved?
Good news! Many alley committees need help to organize activities in their alley! Contact us so we can put you in touch with a green alley committee.
