Trees starting at $25 for residents of the island of Montréal until September 19th

The fall edition of A Tree for my Neighborhood returns from August 24th to September 19th. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the campaign, its co-organizers – the Regroupement des éco-quartiers and Soverdi – are challenging themselves to pass the milestone of 25 000 trees planted thanks to the initiative this fall!

25 000 trees planted, in the long term, is the equivalent of 125,000 air conditioners operating 20 hours a day, or 3 times the surface area of Lafontaine Park. 25 000 trees planted also means more than 3 tons of pollution and 400 tons of carbon absorbed over a year… not to mention all the other benefits for the health and well-being of residents!

Taking part in this greening movement is quick and easy: owners and tenants alike simply shop for their trees starting at $25 on unarbrepourmonquartier.org and pick them up at the beginning of October.
